Beyond Meat ( (BYND) ) has shared an update.
Beyond Meat said its shareholders approved reverse split authority at a special meeting on November 19, 2025, enabling the board to later choose a 1-for-30 reverse stock split and a matching cut in authorized share counts. The move aligns with the company’s effort to maintain its Nasdaq Global Select Market listing by lifting the per-share price while keeping individual investors’ proportional ownership broadly intact.
The reverse split and authorized share reduction are scheduled to take effect at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on August 13, 2026, with split-adjusted trading to begin on August 14 under the existing BYND ticker and a new CUSIP. Beyond Meat will consolidate every 30 common shares into one, round up fractional holdings, proportionately adjust its convertible notes, warrants and equity awards, and shrink authorized common stock from 3 billion to 100 million shares, reshaping its capital structure as it navigates market pressure and compliance risks.

Spark’s Take on BYND Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, BYND is a Neutral.
The score is held down primarily by weak financial performance—declining revenue, very low gross profitability, and persistent cash burn—combined with bearish technical signals (price below key moving averages and negative MACD). The earnings call and corporate updates show some operational and cash-consumption improvements and added capital-structure flexibility, but these positives are not yet sufficient to offset ongoing demand and profitability challenges; valuation is difficult to assess cleanly due to a negative P/E and no dividend support.
