The latest announcement is out from Baxter International ( (BAX) ).

Effective for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, Baxter International reorganized its reporting structure into two segments, Medical Products & Therapies and Healthcare Systems & Technologies, folding its former Pharmaceuticals segment into the Infusion Therapies & Platforms division and reallocating certain manufacturing-related sales to better align decision-making, cost structure and performance assessment. The company also revised its corporate cost allocation approach so some shared expenses remain unallocated and published unaudited recast segment and product category financial data for 2024–2025 and early 2026, along with non-GAAP operational and organic sales growth metrics, to enhance comparability and give investors a clearer view of underlying sales trends amid portfolio and geographic shifts such as its exit from IV solutions in China and activity under the Kidney Care manufacturing and supply agreement.

Spark’s Take on BAX Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, BAX is a Neutral.

The score is held back primarily by weak profitability and a moderately levered balance sheet despite solid and improving cash generation. Technicals also remain soft with the stock below key long-term averages and a negative MACD. Offsetting these factors, management reiterated guidance and outlined a second-half recovery plan, while the dividend offers modest support even though the negative P/E reflects ongoing losses.
