The latest announcement is out from Asiamet Resources ( (GB:ARS) ).

Asiamet Resources has provided an update on its planned divestment of Indokal Limited, the wholly owned subsidiary that controls the 100% owned KSK Project in Indonesia, to Norin Mining (Hong Kong) Limited. The remaining Indonesian regulatory approvals and completion workstreams are said to be progressing, with Asiamet working closely with government authorities to move the deal forward.

Both Asiamet and Norin Mining have reaffirmed their commitment to closing the transaction and have agreed to extend the long stop date in the sale and purchase agreement from 6 August 2026 to 7 September 2026. The extension underscores the importance of securing the necessary Indonesian approvals for completion, and Asiamet has indicated it will continue to update shareholders as the process advances.

Spark’s Take on ARS Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, ARS is a Neutral.

The score is primarily held down by weak financial performance (pre-revenue, sustained losses and negative free cash flow), with technical indicators also showing soft momentum (negative MACD, RSI below 50, and price below key short/medium-term moving averages). Valuation metrics provide limited support because the P/E is not meaningful for a loss-making business and no dividend yield is available.
