ArcelorMittal (MT) has released an update.
ArcelorMittal has updated its segmental reporting structure and redefined EBITDA to improve clarity post its Kazakhstan operations sale. Significant changes include the renaming of the NAFTA segment to ‘North America’, the creation of a new ‘India and JVs’ segment, and the introduction of a ‘Sustainable Solutions’ segment, aimed at supporting climate action and representing a significant portion of the business. These adjustments have been applied retrospectively to financial results from FY 2021 to FY 2023 for consistency in the company’s published analyst model.
