Airtel Africa Continues Share Buy-Back Program

Airtel Africa Plc (GB:AAF) has released an update.

Airtel Africa has announced the purchase of 337,442 of its own ordinary shares as part of an ongoing share buy-back program, with shares bought on the London Stock Exchange at prices ranging from 105.10 to 116.80 GBp. These shares will be subsequently cancelled, and this move comes after the company bought a cumulative total of 13,804,297 shares since the program’s announcement on March 1, 2024. Airtel Africa is a top provider of telecom and mobile money services across 14 African countries.
