Abitibi Metals Corp. has announced high-grade copper results from the first two holes of its inaugural drilling campaign at the B26 Polymetallic Deposit in Quebec, which demonstrate potential for a near-surface open-pit mine. The initial 10,000-metre drill program is part of a larger 30,000-metre effort planned for 2024, with promising results already some of the highest in the project’s history.
