Citi Upgrades Oracle Stock (ORCL) to Buy, Lifts Price Target on ‘Historic’ Bookings

Oracle Corp. (ORCL) just scored a major Wall Street boost as Citi’s four-star analyst Tyler Radke upgraded the stock to Buy and hiked the price target from $240 to $410. For context, Oracle stock surged even after weaker-than-expected Q1 FY26 results. EPS and revenue both missed estimates, but investors focused on a 359% jump in remaining performance obligations (RPO) to $455 billion, highlighting strong cloud demand. Notably, RPOs represent future sales already locked in through customer agreements.

Citi Turns Bullish on Oracle Stock

Following the results, Radke raised his price target on ORCL stock from $240 to $410, implying more than 20% upside from current levels.

Radke highlighted that Oracle’s bookings were a major “surprise,” boosting confidence in the strength and profitability of its AI business. He also noted improving traction in Oracle’s cloud database and said earlier concerns about profitability were eased by management’s guidance for mid-teens EBIT growth in FY26.

Other Analysts Weigh In on ORCL Stock

Overall, several analysts were impressed by Oracle’s latest results and its growing role in AI.

At Guggenheim, top-rated analyst John Difucci raised his price target on Oracle stock from $250 to $375, calling the company his “Best Idea.” Difucci said he was “blown away” by the earnings and pointed to stronger cash flow expectations in the coming years as the main driver of his bullish view.

Likewise, Bank of America’s four-star-rated analyst Bradley Sills upgraded Oracle to a Buy and lifted his price target from $295 to $368. While noting that visibility on returns from Oracle’s heavy capital spending is still limited, Sills emphasized that demand signals from Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) remain too strong to ignore.
