Ashland (ASH) has released an update to notify the public and investors about the submission of matters to a vote of security holders.
At the Ashland Inc. Annual Meeting on January 23, 2024, with 92.57% of eligible shares represented, all nominees for director were elected to serve until the next annual meeting. Ernst & Young LLP was ratified as the independent accountants for fiscal 2024. Additionally, a non-binding advisory resolution approving the compensation paid to Ashland’s named executive officers was approved by the stockholders. Votes were cast for each nominee and proposal, with a majority in favor, and a portion of votes abstained or represented as broker non-votes.
