Rocket Lab is also planning to acquire Iridium Communications (IRDM). The deal would add satellite communications to its launch and space systems businesses. Cantor Fitzgerald analyst Andres Sheppard called the stock a “good entry point” ahead of Neutron’s first launch and Rocket Lab’s planned acquisition of Iridium.

Wall Street has a Strong Buy consensus rating on Rocket Lab stock. The rating is based on 14 Buys and three Holds. The average RKLB stock price target of $109.47 indicates about 55.6% upside from the current levels.

SpaceX Prepares for Its Next Growth Drivers

SpaceX also has several developments ahead. About 328 million shares will become available for sale today, on September 24. The large share unlock could increase selling pressure if existing shareholders choose to sell their holdings.

The company is also preparing for Starship Flight 14 on September 28. The mission is expected to deploy Starlink V3 satellites into the company’s satellite network for the first time.

Moreover, investors are watching the growth potential of Starship and Starlink. SpaceX’s AI business could add another source of demand as the company expands its infrastructure and computing operations.
