ETF Overview

Corgi RMBS 2x Daily ETF

The Corgi RMBS 2x Daily ETF (RMBC) is a leveraged, sector-focused exchange-traded fund that seeks to deliver twice (2x) the daily performance of Rambus Inc. (NASDAQ: RMBS), a publicly traded company operating in the semiconductors and memory/IP segment of the Information Technology sector. As a single-stock, semiconductors-niche product, RMBC offers traders and tactically minded investors a concentrated, amplified way to express a directional view on Rambus’s equity on an intraday basis. To achieve its objective, the Fund employs leverage—typically through derivatives (such as swaps and futures) and/or borrowing—so that for a given trading day it aims to gain approximately 2% when RMBS gains 1%, and conversely to lose approximately 2% when RMBS falls 1%, before fees and expenses. Important characteristics include a daily reset mechanism and path-dependent performance: returns over periods longer than one day can diverge significantly from two times the simple multi-day return of RMBS due to compounding, volatility drag, and rebalancing. RMBC is designed primarily for experienced, short-term traders seeking magnified exposure for speculation, tactical hedges, or intraday strategies. It is not intended as a buy-and-hold core holding; prolonged holding periods can produce unexpected results and higher risk. Prospective investors should understand leveraged-product mechanics, potential for amplified losses, tracking error, costs, and the liquidity profile of both the ETF and the underlying stock before investing.
