ETF Overview
Corgi Growth & Technology 15% Structured Buffer ETF
Corgi Growth & Technology 15% Structured Buffer ETF (QQMY) is an actively managed “structured outcome” ETF that gives investors targeted Nasdaq‑100 exposure with a defined, annual downside hedge. The fund seeks to deliver the price return of the Invesco QQQ Trust — the widely followed Nasdaq‑100 proxy that concentrates in growth and technology names — subject to an upside cap, while buffering the first 10% of losses over each one‑year series.
QQMY implements this outcome using standardized FLEX options (customizable exchange‑listed options). The manager dynamically structures option positions each series (which begins May 1 and runs for one year) to sell upside participation to help finance protection on the downside. The result is a tradeoff: participation in QQQ’s gains up to a predetermined cap for the series, and protection that absorbs the initial 10% of index declines in that annual period. Because the program resets annually, protection and cap terms are set at the start of each May 1 series.
This ETF is aimed at investors who want concentrated Nasdaq‑100 growth exposure but prefer a rules‑based, limited downside cushion over 12‑month windows rather than full market exposure. It may suit those seeking a middle ground between outright ownership of QQQ and hedged alternatives: you keep a meaningful portion of upside (until the cap) while accepting that larger losses beyond the buffered 10% are not protected and that upside is limited by the cap for the year. As an actively managed, structured product, QQMY’s exact strike selections and cap level are determined by the manager at the start of each series and are designed to balance upside potential, cost of protection, and market conditions.
