ETF Overview
Corgi Growth & Technology 10% Structured Buffer ETF
Corgi Growth & Technology 10% Structured Buffer ETF (QJN) is a structured-outcome ETF that delivers targeted Nasdaq‑100 exposure with built‑in, time‑limited downside protection. The fund gives investors the price return of the Invesco QQQ Trust (a Nasdaq‑100 proxy) up to a capped upside while buffering the first 10% of losses over a defined one‑year option series that begins each June 1. QJN is actively managed and implements a customized options overlay using exchange‑listed FLEX options to create the capped upside and the 10% annual buffer—an approach designed to preserve much of the tech‑and‑growth equity participation while moderating short‑term downside risk.
This strategy is intended for investors who want concentrated growth/technology exposure (the Nasdaq‑100 niche) but prefer a disciplined, outcome‑oriented sleeve that reduces the impact of modest annual drawdowns in exchange for limiting upside beyond a series cap. Important mechanics to note: the buffer only applies over each annual series and is realized at that series’ measurement date, upside participation is limited to a predetermined cap (set and disclosed at the start of the series), and losses beyond the 10% buffer are borne by shareholders. Because the fund uses options, investors should expect potential tracking differences versus QQQ, and protection can lapse if shares are sold before the series ends.
QJN can suit investors with a roughly one‑year time horizon seeking a risk‑managed way to access large‑cap growth and technology returns, accepting a known tradeoff between limited downside relief and reduced upside potential. As with any structured product, investors should review the fund’s prospectus for specifics on the cap, option mechanics, fees, and the operational details of the annual series before investing.
