ETF Overview
KraneShares InspereX Nasdaq Dynamic Buffered High Income Index ETF
KraneShares InspereX Nasdaq Dynamic Buffered High Income Index ETF (KIQQ) offers investors large‑cap equity exposure to the Nasdaq‑100 combined with an options overlay designed to generate income and provide partial downside protection. Built around a broad‑based, large‑cap growth nucleus—heavy in technology and other Nasdaq‑listed leaders—the fund tracks an index that holds the same top Nasdaq constituents while dynamically implementing a collar strategy (selling calls and buying puts) to harvest option premium and limit downside within a targeted range.
The “dynamic buffered high income” approach means the fund seeks to deliver elevated current income relative to a plain Nasdaq‑100 exposure by collecting option premiums, while using purchased puts to create a buffer against some market declines. Because of the collar, investors should expect reduced upside participation when equities rally (due to sold calls) in exchange for the income and downside mitigation. The manager adjusts strike selections and option tenors over time to respond to market conditions and to try to sustain yield and protection objectives.
KIQQ is positioned for investors who want sizable large‑cap, growth‑oriented equity exposure but with an income focus and a preference for structured downside management. It can serve as a core or satellite allocation for income‑seeking portfolios that are willing to accept capped upside and the risks inherent in derivatives, including potential tracking differences and protection limits.
