ETF Overview
Corgi International Developed Equities 15% Structured Buffer ETF - July Series
Corgi International Developed Equities 15% Structured Buffer ETF — July Series (IDJL) is a structured outcome ETF that delivers targeted exposure to developed international equities (the EAFE universe: Europe, Australasia and the Far East) while embedding a built‑in downside hedge. The fund seeks to provide investors with the price return (excluding dividends) of its underlying developed‑markets equity exposure up to a pre‑set upside cap for the series, while protecting investors against the first 15% of losses over the outcome period (prior to management fees and other expenses).
How it works: IDJL combines direct exposure to international developed equities with an options‑based overlay to carve out a 15% buffer against initial declines and to create a capped participation in upside. The “July Series” denotes the structured outcome’s defined outcome period established at the start of the series; the upside cap and other design features are set for that period and disclosed at launch. Because the strategy focuses on price return, dividend income is not captured in the buffered outcome.
Who it’s for: IDJL is aimed at investors who want meaningful downside mitigation on developed international equity exposure without fully foregoing growth — investors willing to accept a capped upside in exchange for a defined first‑loss buffer. It is suitable as a tactical sleeve for portfolios that need downside risk management in an EAFE niche or for investors seeking defined‑term, outcomes‑oriented exposure.
Key considerations: upside participation is limited by the cap and the buffer applies before management fees and other expenses; dividends are excluded from the targeted return; and the structured features reset by series, so outcomes depend on the terms announced for the July Series at inception. As with all structured outcome products, investors should review the fund’s prospectus, understand option mechanics and be comfortable with the tradeoffs between downside protection and capped upside.
