ETF Overview
Corgi CART 2x Daily ETF
Corgi CART 2x Daily ETF (CARX) is a leveraged, sector-focused exchange-traded fund that seeks to deliver twice (2x) the daily performance, before fees and expenses, of the publicly traded common stock of Maplebear Inc. (NASDAQ: CART), the parent company of Instacart. Positioned in the Consumer Staples sector with a clear Food Retail niche, CARX offers traders and tactical investors a direct, amplified way to express a short-term bullish view specifically on Instacart’s equity performance rather than a broad grocery or retail basket.
To achieve its objective, the fund uses leverage—typically through derivatives (swaps, futures, options) and/or financing arrangements—to target a 2x exposure on a daily basis. Because the fund resets daily, its returns are designed to match twice the underlying stock’s performance over single trading days; over longer holding periods, compounding and market volatility can cause the fund’s cumulative results to diverge significantly (positively or negatively) from two times the multi-day return of the underlying security. CARX is therefore primarily intended for active traders, short-term strategies, or disciplined tactical allocations rather than buy-and-hold investors.
Key characteristics: concentrated single-stock exposure (high idiosyncratic risk), leveraged daily return objective, higher potential for amplified gains and losses, and greater sensitivity to volatility and tracking error compared with non-leveraged, diversified ETFs. Investors should be aware of the elevated risks inherent to leveraged and single-stock funds—including leverage-related decay, counterparty and derivative risk, and generally higher fees and trading costs—and should consider using CARX only when seeking short-term, directional exposure to Instacart.
