Apple brought up AI ‘a few times’ during iPad launch event, says Citi

After Apple hosted its “Let Loose” product launch event and unveiled a new iPad Pro series powered by a brand new M4 chip, upgraded iPad Air with M2 chips and a new 13-inch size, upgraded Apple Pencil Pro with more interactions and showed off a Magic Keyboard, Citi said “Apple still wants us to hold our breath for AI developments until June WWDC,” but noted that AI/ML “came up a few times during the product launch.” The firm, which expects the new product launch to boost the sales of iPads, notes that Apple guided double-digit growth in the June-end quarter for iPads and Citi models 17% growth. Citi has a Buy rating and $210 price target on Apple shares.
