AMD, ORC, SHOP, DECK, KEYS trending with analysts

Analysts are intrested in these 5 stocks: ( (AMD) ), ( (ORC) ), ( (SHOP) ), ( (DECK) ) and ( (KEYS) ). Here is a breakdown of their recent ratings and the rationale behind them.

Advanced Micro Devices is attracting cautious attention as analysts weigh massive AI upside against fierce competition. Sebastien Naji initiated coverage with a Hold, highlighting how booming AI infrastructure demand for GPUs, CPUs and other chips could potentially double AMD’s sales from $52 billion in 2026 to more than $104 billion by 2028.

He sees non-GAAP earnings per share approaching $20 in 2028, but warns that Nvidia’s dominance and custom chips from big cloud players will likely cap AMD’s GPU market share. On the CPU side, AMD’s past gains are seen as harder to repeat as Arm-based servers, Qualcomm and Nvidia designs, plus a recovering Intel, intensify pressure on x86, leaving the stock fairly valued at about 33x 2027 earnings.

Orchid Island Capital is drawing a neutral stance as income-focused investors balance high yield with modest growth. Douglas Harter initiated coverage at Hold after the mortgage REIT posted a second-quarter book value of $7.22, up about 2% but still 2% below his estimate and in the lower half of expected peer performance.

Economic return came in at 6.3%, again towards the low end of its sector, while the mortgage-backed securities portfolio rose slightly to $11.5 billion, just under forecasts. With share repurchases trimming earlier issuance and a hefty dividend of $1.20 yielding roughly 17.6%, the analyst is keeping estimates unchanged, signaling that ORC offers income but limited near-term upside.

Shopify has moved back into the spotlight as analysts bet on “agentic commerce” reshaping online retail. Samad Samana upgraded SHOP to Buy with a $160 price target, arguing the company is positioned as the core infrastructure and toolset for AI-powered shopping agents that can drive more sales volume, deeper merchant loyalty and greater influence over product discovery.

He points to new partner commission rules coming in August 2026 that tie payouts to actual value created on the platform, pushing partners to focus on larger merchants, ongoing support and cross-selling advanced solutions like B2B, POS and Shopify Components. With a likely price increase on standard plans and third-party data hinting at stronger second-quarter gross merchandise volume than consensus expects, Shopify is seen as having both growth and margin tailwinds.

Deckers Outdoor is being reappraised as more than a one-brand story, with Jefferies seeing mispriced growth. Blake Anderson upgraded DECK to Buy with a $130 target, arguing that the company’s medium-term guidance for high single-digit revenue growth, stable margins in the low-20% range and double-digit earnings growth via buybacks is achievable, despite a maturing business.

He believes the market has overreacted to HOKA’s slowdown, noting early signs that new product segmentation, like the recent Clifton Pro launch and an upcoming Bondi line, can reaccelerate sales. Combined with UGG’s underappreciated durability, diversified product mix and lack of direct competitors, plus cash equal to about 13% of market cap, Deckers is framed as a footwear and comfort play with room for upside.

Keysight Technologies is emerging as a quiet beneficiary of the AI hardware race rather than a bet on any single chip winner. Meta Marshall upgraded KEYS to Buy (Overweight) with a $400 price target, emphasizing that more than half of its revenue comes from R&D and lab testing and that its AI-related business already sits in the mid-teens percentage of total sales.

As data-center speeds jump from 800G to 1.6T and planning begins for 3.2T, and as firms test multiple network approaches and optical versus electrical links, Keysight’s role in validating these designs grows. With AI, aerospace and defense, semiconductors and next-gen wireless all feeding demand, and earnings expected to grow about 30% annually from 2025 to 2027, the stock is pitched as a diversified, lower-volatility way to play the AI infrastructure boom.
