Westwater Resources appoints Jon Jacobs as CCO

Westwater Resources (WWR) announced that Jon Jacobs has been hired as the Company’s Chief Commercial Officer effective March 6, 2023. Prior to joining Westwater, Mr. Jacobs was the Chief Marketing Officer for Solid Power (SLDP) from October 2021 through February 2022. On March 1, 2023, the Compensation Committee of the Westwater Board of Directors granted an inducement award to Mr. Jacobs pursuant to NYSE American Company Guide Section 711. As an inducement to secure his employment, Mr. Jacobs was awarded 82,474 restricted stock units of the Company’s common stock, which will vest equally over two years and subject to terms and conditions of the Westwater Employment Inducement Incentive Award Plan.
