As previously reported, TD Securities analyst Menno Hulshof downgraded Vermilion Energy to Hold from Buy with a price target of C$21, down from C$29, on diminished near-term European gas price upside. The firm also cites "several recent surprises," including a Wandoo platform outage in December 2022 that extends into Q2 and a Saskatchewan asset sale that reduced 2023 production guidance by 6%, and what it calls "a less certain shareholder capital returns profile."
