TSMC (TSM) is weighing acquiring a controlling stake in Intel’s (INTC) U.S. factories at the request of Trump administration officials as the president eyes boosting American manufacturing, Bloomberg’s Mackenzie Hawkins and Ian King report, citing a person familiar with the matter.
