TV Streaming and entertainment company Paramount’s co-CEOs George Cheeks, Brian Robbins and Chris McCarthy warned employees on Tuesday that the “phase two” of staff cuts will be over by day-end, with 90% of layoffs complete, The Hollywood Reporter’s Alex Weprin writes. The co-CEOs noted that “like the entire Media industry, we are working to accelerate streaming profitability while at the same time adjusting to the evolving landscape in our traditional businesses,” added the story.
