Microsoft-backed (MSFT) OpenAI has discussed making a humanoid robot, according to The Information’s Stephanie Palazzolo and Amir Efrati. Optimus, also known as Tesla Bot, is a general-purpose robotic humanoid under development by Tesla (TSLA), prototypes of which were featured at Tesla’s “We, Robot” event this past October.
