Wells Fargo analyst Allison Poliniak-Cusic raised the firm’s price target on Norfolk Southern to $285 from $260 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares. The analyst believes Norfolk’s investor day next week can establish a credible framework that supports +10% EPS growth longer term. There are headwinds, but the company has compelling EPS growth opportunities ahead, driven by intermodal volume growth and buybacks, she adds.
