Nissan ‘strongly denies’ content of Reuters report, says finalizing Renault pact

Nissan (NSANY) issued the following position statement on an article published by Reuters: "On April 14, 2023 the Reuters published a report titled ‘Nissan Seeks Tech Tie-up Without Renault Participation’. Nissan strongly denies the content of the report, and which is far from Nissan’s intention. Nissan and Renault are currently engaged in the finalization of definitive agreement. With the new Alliance framework, we embark on the next level of collaboration to create more growth opportunities and help secure operating efficiencies for each Alliance company to innovate and transform in the fast-changing market for automotive products and mobility services. We also expressed our intent to invest in Ampere to complement Nissan’s strategy in Europe and potentially create new business opportunities." Reference Link
