Ford (F) is in discussions with China’s BYD (BYDDF) over the sale of a manufacturing facility in Germany, the Wall Street Journal’s William Boston reports, citing people familiar with the discussions. Officials from the U.S. car maker’s management in Germany intend to travel to China next week to go over the potential sale of a factory in Saarlouis, where vehicle output is slated to end in 2025, the author notes.
