Disney restores its channels on Dish after reaching agreement, WSJ reports

TV channels owned by Walt Disney (DIS) are back on Dish Network (DISH) platforms after the two companies reached a tentative agreement on a new contract, Joe Flint of The Wall Street Journal reports. This agreement comes after a weekend blackout that saw Dish customers lose access to several popular Disney Networks, including ESPN and ABC. Dish currently has 10M subscribers, but declined to report how many were effected by the blackout. The blackout was caused by issues with terms for a new agreement for Dish to continue carrying Disney’s networks. Terms for the agreement were not disclosed. Reference Link
