Barclays analyst Betty Jiang lowered the firm’s price target on Chevron to $185 from $203 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares. The company’s Q2 saw an outsized earnings impact from Australia downtime and weak refining margins, the analyst tells investors in a research note. However, the firm says Chevron’s underlying operations were strong across U.S. onshore.
