Citi analyst Nigel Pittaway downgraded Challenger Ltd. to Sell from Neutral with a price target of A$7, up from A$6.90. Higher interest rates likely improve the outlook for Challenger’s retail sales, but maturities will likely also stay elevated and the stock has rallied significantly since the company’s Q1 update, Pittaway stated.
