Barclays CEO Venkatakrishnan to undergo cancer treatment, FT reports

CS Venkatakrishnan, the CEO of Barclays, will be undergoing treatment for non-Hodgkin lymphoma for the next 12-16 weeks, The Financial Times’ Oliver Ralph reports. In a letter to staff, Venkatakrishnan wrote: "The doctors have advised that my prognosis is excellent, and my condition is curable with their prescribed regimen." He also said: "During this period, the company will run normally, and I will continue to be actively engaged in managing it.
