Apple’s (AAPL) iPhone prices have barely changed since 2017, with the iPhone 17 Pro starting at $1,099, just $100 more than the iPhone X, but the company is pricing a 2-terabyte storage option for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, priced at $1,999, marking the first time an iPhone has reached that price point, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports. Apple is expected to continue increasing iPhone prices, with the upcoming foldable iPhone likely to be at least twice as much as the single-screen iPhone Air, and a future “iPhone 20” potentially setting a new, higher price standard, Gurman writes.
