Mizuho lowered the firm’s price target on American Electric Power to $100 from $101 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. AEP and Liberty Utilities mutually agreed to terminate the transaction that would sell AEP’s Kentucky operations to Liberty, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Consistent with management guidance, the firm does not see AEP increasing its equity needs as a result of the termination.
