During AMD‘s (AMD) first analyst day since 2022, management highlighted key debates over several hours, with the bull case emphasizing potential revenue expansion from even modest data center share gains, continued server and PC market share growth versus Intel (INTC), and a pathway to $20+ non-GAAP EPS within 3-5 years, Loop Capital tells investors in a research note. The bear case points to competitive pressures from Arm licensees, near-term margin sacrifices to enter the data center GPU market, Nvidia’s (NVDA) lead in AI GPUs, and the rise of custom AI ASICs, the firm says. Loop Capital has a Buy rating and $290 price target on the stock.
