Credit Suisse analyst Stephen Ju raised the firm’s price target on Amazon.com to $142 from $140 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares. The firm believes AWS growth decelerated throughout Q1 due to the macro-driven optimization, though AWS sales/support staff continue to work with clients to help reduce costs, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm sees continued e-commerce segment operating margin expansion as Amazon grows into its larger infrastructure and optionality for faster-than-expected free cash flow growth vis-a-vis its advertising segment.
