Nullspace Highlights EM Software Performance in Large-Scale Phased Array Benchmark

A LinkedIn post from Nullspace highlights benchmark results comparing the company’s Nullspace EM software with a legacy electromagnetic simulation tool on a 15.5 GHz phased array. According to the post, the same array was scaled from a single element to 1,024 elements, with the legacy tool failing to complete runs above an 8×8 configuration due to memory exhaustion.

The post suggests that Nullspace EM completed all benchmark cases, including the 1,024‑element array, in 5.7 hours using 170 GB of memory on a workstation-class machine. At sizes where both tools finished, Nullspace EM was described as 3x to 23x faster while using roughly an order of magnitude less memory, pointing to potentially significant performance and efficiency advantages.

For investors, these reported results may indicate that Nullspace is positioning its EM platform as a high-performance alternative for complex antenna and phased array design workloads. If validated and adopted by RF engineering and defense or telecom customers, such performance could support competitive differentiation, pricing power, and deeper penetration into high-value simulation and design markets.

The emphasis on completing large-scale arrays within workstation limits may also broaden Nullspace’s accessible customer base beyond organizations with high-end compute infrastructure. This could translate into a larger addressable market and recurring software revenues, while the detailed methodology and hardware disclosure referenced in the report link may help build credibility among technical decision-makers.
