interfaceai – Weekly Recap

interfaceai featured in several announcements this week, underscoring its push to make “agentic AI” a core technology for credit union and bank contact centers. The company describes agentic AI as systems that can autonomously authenticate members, execute transactions, and resolve disputes, aiming to move beyond traditional IVR and basic chatbots.

interfaceai reported that some credit unions using this model in production are containing more than 80% of inbound call volume through autonomous resolution rather than routing alone. This level of automation is positioned as a way to materially reduce contact center operating costs while improving member experience and supporting recurring, usage-based revenue.

A key customer highlight came from Red Rocks Credit Union’s deployment of “Roxy,” an AI-powered voice agent built on interfaceai’s platform. Since launching in late 2025, Roxy has reportedly handled more than 9,200 calls with a 78% resolution rate and significantly reduced hold times, with leadership emphasizing staff redeployment to higher-value tasks instead of job cuts.

The Red Rocks case also showcased a policy-first approach, with governance and concrete member use cases prioritized before technology selection. interfaceai framed employee engagement and clear positioning of AI as operational support as important to mitigating workforce resistance and implementation risk in financial institutions.

At American Banker’s Digital Banking conference in Orlando, interfaceai showcased its Nexus platform, described as the “industry’s first fully agentic CCaaS” and an agentic AI contact center. Live demos illustrated AI handling member conversations end to end, with human intervention limited to targeted moments rather than full call transfers.

Judges at the event reportedly highlighted Nexus’s end-to-end workflow, vertical focus on financial services, and potential to address contact centers as a major cost center. More than 100 banks and credit unions are said to be using interfaceai’s AI agents for member service transformation and contact center automation, underscoring an existing installed base.

Nexus is positioned as rethinking contact center operations through skills-based micro-routing, multiple capability pillars, and deep core banking integrations. The company is using conference visibility, demo competitions, and on-site engagement to drive demand generation and validate its product-market fit among banks and credit unions.

Collectively, these developments reinforce interfaceai’s strategy of combining high-automation contact center technology with measurable outcomes and governance-focused deployments. If current performance metrics and adoption trends are sustained, the company appears well placed to deepen its role in AI-driven customer engagement across the financial services sector.
