Instacart has announced a strategic partnership with Advantage Solutions to enhance in-store execution for consumer packaged goods (CPGs) companies. This collaboration aims to leverage Instacart’s extensive technology and shopper network alongside Advantage’s retail execution expertise. By integrating Instacart’s in-store audit capabilities with Advantage’s field services, the partnership will enable CPGs to swiftly address issues related to product availability, pricing, and display execution.
The partnership introduces a dynamic alert-based retail model where Instacart’s community of approximately 600,000 shoppers will conduct in-store audits. These audits will provide real-time data and insights, triggering alerts for Advantage’s field teams to take immediate action on high-priority issues. This approach is expected to improve compliance, reduce out-of-stock situations, and enhance overall performance for CPGs. Instacart’s VP and GM of Business & Supply Chain, Andrew Nodes, emphasized the importance of supply chain visibility in streamlining operations and enhancing customer experiences. The partnership has already seen a successful pilot and plans for expansion in 2026, marking a significant step in Instacart’s strategic efforts to provide comprehensive solutions for retailers and brands.
