Compass provides security intelligence that helps organizations in avoiding human error by highlighting key performance indicators, automating incident reporting, and outlining standard procedures.

The system allows security managers to customize step-by-step procedures and guide their teams on how to respond to real-time events like intrusion and fire alarms, intercom calls, technical issues and video analytic events.

Furthermore, Compass integrates with Motorola’s video management and access control systems, including IndigoVision Control Center, Pelco VideoXpert, Avigilon Access Control Manager and Avigilon Control Center.

The Senior Vice-President of Video Security & Analytics at Motorola Solutions, John Kedzierski, said, “By combining Compass with our video management and access control solutions, organizations are able to gain full visibility into their security operations and enable them to be efficient and effective in every response.”

Last week, Northcoast Research analyst Keith Houssum reiterated a Buy rating on the stock and raised the price target from $215 to $244 (12.7% upside potential). The analyst expects the company to record double-digit earnings growth “well beyond” next year.

Overall, the stock has a Strong Buy consensus rating based on 6 Buys and 1 Hold. The average Motorola Solutions price target of $244.14 implies 12.7% upside potential. Shares have gained 59.7% over the past year.

According to TipRanks’ Smart Score rating system, Motorola scores an 8 out of 10, suggesting that the stock is likely to outperform market averages.
