Measure Stock Potential with TipRanks Smart Score

One of the biggest challenges that individual investors face is performing reliable research. Investors can mistakenly believe that one positive article on a finance website is enough to determine whether to make an investment.

It can also be difficult to know what to do when faced with contradictory signals. For example, what do you do if a stock’s technical indicators look good, yet hedge funds are dumping it? Or if a CEO is buying a lot of stock in their own company, but analysts with a strong track record are bearish?

The TipRanks Smart Score provides a data-driven stock score that is easy to understand. The Top Smart Score Stocks tool enables investors to find stocks with the highest Smart Score. Here’s how it works (scroll down to read more).

What is TipRanks Smart Score?

The TipRanks Smart Score is a proprietary rating system that scores stocks on a scale of 1-10. It gives a data-driven stock assessment based on 8 unique market factors. More on these below.

On a Scale of 1-10 – What Does This Mean?

10 is the highest score, and 1 is the lowest. Scores can be categorized into 3 main groups:

Additionally, you can also add or remove columns from the table – with a total of 20 to choose from. These include dividend yield, analyst consensus, and price target upside. Just use the ‘Select columns’ tab to filter.
