KnowBe4 (NASDAQ: KNBE) Shares Pop After Vista Equity Bid

Shares of KnowBe4 (NASDAQ: KNBE) popped in pre-market trading on Monday as the security awareness training and simulated phishing platform confirmed that it had received a non-binding proposal from Vista Equity Partners to acquire all of the company’s outstanding shares for $24 per share in cash.

KnowBe4 stated that this proposal represented a 39% premium to KNBE’s closing price as on September 16.

The company stated that a Special Committee comprised of its independent directors from its Board of Directors will “carefully review the Vista proposal and other potential value creation opportunities to determine the course of action that it believes is in the best interests of KnowBe4 and its stockholders.”
