Pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly (LLY) has enlisted the help of Oscar-winning actress Julianne Moore for a new campaign focused on brain health.

Moore won the Best Actress Academy Award for the 2014 film “Still Alice,” where she played a woman struggling with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease. Now, Eli Lilly has hired Moore to help encourage people to prioritize their brain health.
Eli Lilly, which sells Kisunla, one of the few Alzheimer’s drugs on the market today, says Moore will lead its global “Brain Health Matters” campaign, and will encourage people to talk to their doctors about their dementia risks and undertake positive brain health habits.
Rising Sales
Eli Lilly is launching the brain health campaign with Julianne Moore during World Alzheimer’s Month, which occurs each September. The campaign also comes amid rising sales of the Kisunla medication. Sales of the drug grew from $8 million at the end of 2024 to $49 million in the first half of this year.
The “Brain Health Matters” campaign will appear on U.S. television, radio, and social media platforms. “One of the things that has stayed with me from my conversations with people living with Alzheimer’s disease is that taking responsibility for one’s brain health is essential for protecting our freedom to do the things that make life meaningful,” said Moore in a statement about the campaign.
