Prudential (GB:PRU) has released an update.
Prudential plc has announced the repurchase of 342,784 of its own shares at prices ranging from GBP 6.2900 to GBP 6.3700, with an average of GBP 6.3257 per share, through Goldman Sachs International. The buyback is part of the company’s shareholder-approved plan and the shares will be subsequently cancelled, leaving Prudential with 2,732,583,462 shares in issue and an equivalent number of voting rights.
