Prudential (GB:PRU) has released an update.
Prudential plc has announced the repurchase of 977,801 of its own shares through Goldman Sachs International on the London Stock Exchange, with plans to cancel the acquired shares. Following the transaction, the company will have 2,730,155,824 shares in issue, affecting the total number of voting rights. The buyback was conducted in line with the authority granted by shareholders at Prudential’s 2024 AGM.
