Prudential (GB:PRU) has released an update.
Prudential plc has announced the buyback of 1,498,932 of its own shares at an average price of GBP 6.2339 via Goldman Sachs International on the London Stock Exchange, as authorized by shareholders. The shares will be cancelled, which will leave the company with 2,717,668,312 shares in issue and an equal number of voting rights. This transaction is in line with the company’s buy-back agreement and shareholder-approved measures.
