Lippo Malls Trust Rating Uplifted Amid Refinancing Risks

Lippo Malls Indonesia Retail (SG:D5IU) has released an update.

Fitch Ratings has elevated Lippo Malls Indonesia Retail Trust’s (LMIR Trust) Long Term Issuer Default Ratings from ‘C’ to ‘CCC’, signaling improved liquidity and potential to meet debt obligations for the next 18 months. Despite this positive change, concerns remain over the Trust’s capacity to repay its 2026 unsecured notes, highlighting a continued high refinancing risk. The Trust, however, maintains compliance with all its financial covenants.
