Interfor Corporation experienced a challenging second quarter in 2024, reporting a net loss of $75.8 million and an adjusted EBITDA loss of $16.7 million amid a weak lumber market. The company responded to market conditions by curtailing lumber production and reported a quarter-over-quarter improvement in liquidity to $330.5 million, thanks to operational efficiencies and working capital reductions.
