Engineer Gold Mines ( (TSE:EAU) ) has issued an announcement.
Engineer Gold Mines is a mineral exploration company focused on gold and silver projects in northwestern British Columbia, including its wholly owned Engineer Gold Project. The project comprises the historic Engineer mine, the TAG property and the Wann River prospect, positioning the company around exploration and resource evaluation rather than current production.
The company completed an initial 2026 infill sampling program at TAG, selecting 538 samples from 20 diamond-drill holes totaling 685 metres for gold-silver and multielement analysis. The work addresses unsampled gaps in historical drilling along the six-kilometre 025FZ mineralized structure and strengthens the geological dataset used to assess TAG’s mineral potential.
Historical drilling from 2006 to 2008 covered 69 holes and 11,524 metres, while a qualified person’s review found the records suitable to guide exploration, although the historic information could not be independently verified. The program advances Engineer Gold’s evaluation of the gold-silver system, but no current mineral-resource estimate has yet been established.
