dorsaVi Limited ( (AU:DVL) ) has issued an announcement.

DorsaVi has completed a strategic analysis showing that integrating its EMG and movement sensors with resistive random-access memory and neuromorphic in-sensor computing could sharply reduce sensor counts and data loads in exoskeletons, while more than doubling battery life. By embedding decision-making capability directly into each sensor node, the company aims to deliver sub-30 millisecond response times and over 90% classification accuracy, enabling exoskeletons to respond to a user’s movement intent before motion is fully executed.

The company is targeting the sensing and decision-intelligence layer rather than building exoskeleton hardware, positioning itself as a technology partner to manufacturers with potential revenue from sensor sales, OEM integrations, licensing, validation services, and software. A staged deployment path, from eight sensors for full limb mapping to a streamlined five-sensor configuration for field use, is designed to support near-term adoption and extend the commercial relevance of its platform, as the global exoskeleton market is forecast to expand strongly across medical, industrial, defence, and aged care applications.
