Distil plc announces the successful first distillation of Blackwoods Gin at its new Ardgowan Distillery, marking a key step in the brand’s development and future product offerings. The distillery, part of a £3 million investment, will also feature a gin school and visitor experience, with the first batch of gin reserved as a limited edition for shareholders. The gin still, named ‘Marie’ by public vote, honors a local historical figure and underlines the brand’s connection to Scottish heritage and innovation.
