Compx International Reports Decrease in Q3 2024 Sales

Compx International ( (CIX) ) just unveiled an update.

CompX International Inc. reported a decrease in third-quarter 2024 sales to $33.6 million from $40.3 million in the same period of 2023, primarily due to lower sales in Security Products and Marine Components. Operating income was halved to $3.3 million, and net income fell to $3.5 million from $5.8 million in 2023. These results reflect challenges such as decreased demand from government security customers and the towboat market, alongside broader economic uncertainties.
