Centrica PLC has announced the purchase of 2,060,000 of its own shares at a price of 132.4280 pence each, as part of its ongoing share repurchase program initiated in October 2023. The shares bought will be held as treasury shares, contributing to a total cost of £447,228,883.39 for shares bought back since the program began. Following this transaction, Centrica now holds over 557 million shares in treasury and has more than 5 billion shares issued, excluding those held in treasury.
